Randy Dignan was born on August 28, 1975, in St. Augustine, FL, to deaf parents, having a younger hearing brother and a younger deaf sister, and was saved at Victory Baptist Church at the age of 18 after finishing his first year of scholarship college football which was preceded by several other athletic achievements. Two months after his salvation, he attended Bible college where he met the love of his life, Janelle who has, since, learned and become fluent in sign language. Taking on Bible Baptist Church of Jefferson City, MO, in May of 1998 while only 22, having been saved fewer than four years and the church having only 28 voting members at the time, Randy, through God's guidance and provision, led the church in 2005 to build a new 700-seat auditorium and in 2022 to build a new complex including a gymnasium for outreach purposes. God has grown the church in miraculous ways!
Randy has traveled nationally and internationally; preached to the deaf and teens, at youth conferences, missions conferences, camps, and revivals; and hosted a worldwide, four-season, 30-minute TV program called the "Listening Heart" which aired weekly in English and American Sign Language on Christian Television Network (CTN) as well as YouTube! He has also received two honorary doctorates, the most recent of which is from a Bible college in the Philippines, and has two published books entitled Heart Language and Family DOvotionals. He has now been voted to be the new pastor of Bible Baptist Church Of Jacksonville, AR. However, Randy's favorite part of life is being husband to Janelle and daddy to Briella, Rayana, Grant, and Clara all of whom have traveled with him and sung prior to his preaching both nationally and internationally. He loves Jesus, his family, and his church; has a special burden for the deaf and teenagers; has a passion for the Gospel, being evident in his preaching; and wants all to know the Good News!
