Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Jason Watford
Pastoring for 10 years!
Pastor was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1980. He was saved at the age of twelve at Mt. Olive Baptist Church under the preaching of Bro. Dave Roberson. Later that week at youth camp, he surrendered to preach. Pastor Watford began growing in the Lord under the leadership of Dr. B. G. Buchanan while attending Central Baptist Church and School. After graduating high school in 1998, Pastor attended Hyles-Anderson College where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Theology.
After graduating from Hyles-Anderson College in 2002, he went to Open Door Baptist Church in McComb, Mississippi, where he served as the Youth Pastor. In 2006, Pastor Watford went to Jacksonville, Arkansas to serve as Youth Pastor at Bible Baptist Church. While there, he helped build the youth ministry, bus ministry, and taught an adult Sunday School class. He received his Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Pastoral Theology at Bethel Baptist College and later became the Vice President of the College.
He pastored Spring Creek Baptist Church in Goldsboro, NC for 10 years. While there he started a bus ministry, Spanish ministry, missions ministry, and preschool ministry.
God called him back to Arkansas to pastor here at Bible Baptist Church in May of 2023.
